The museum features a wide range of exhibits and aspects of science, technological inventions and industries. It has 12 galleries with interactive installations for children to learn about various scientific concepts including physics, biotechnology, metal, electricity, life science, mathematics, popular science, television, transport and motive power.
All the students, guided by their class teachers, headed for the 3D show which was a 20-minute presentation using advanced computer graphics, animations and special effects to recreate the excitement of a rocket launch and moon landing. The show was projected onto a large screen, providing a visually stunning experience which took us on a thrilling journey through the wonders of the universe.
One of the most fascinating exhibits at BITM is the Coal Mine Gallery, which showcases a life-size mock-up of an underground coal mine. The students explored the tunnel and learned about the coal mining process, the machinery used and the challenges faced by coal miners.
